Day 01 Colombo - Dambulla

Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport - Met by our representative and transfers by Luxury SUV to Amaya Lake Signature Wing Dambulla. Overnight stay with 04 course set menu dinner and set menu breakfast at Amaya Lake Signature Wing Dambulla including Personal Butler service. Day 02 Dambulla - Sigiriya – Kandy

After early breakfast proceed to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, UNESCO World Heritage site. *Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Sigiriya perhaps is the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. This rock fortress was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. In a sheltered pocket, approached by a spiral stairway, are the famous frescoes. The summit of the rock, with an area of nearly one hectare was the site of the palace, the outer wall of which was built on the very brink of the precipice. The UNESCO - sponsored Central Cultural Fund has restored Sigiriya 5th century Water Gardens to their former glory. Proceed to Kandy. Visit Spice Garden, Batik factory on the way. In Kandy enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The historic city about 480m above sea level surrounded by mountains was known to Sri Lankan as Kanda Uda Rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka's last independent Kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the Temple of the tooth, the royal Botanical Gardens. Also enjoy a panoramic view of Kandy from upper lake drive. Kandy is also famous for its shopping, gems and jewellery, handicrafts, batiks, silks etc, and you will have the opportunity of browsing to your heart's content. Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Temple of Tooth which is also known as Dalada Maligawa is the most famous place to visit in Kandy. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses one of the two surviving relic of the Tooth of Buddha, an object of veneration for Buddhists. Day 03 Kandy – Koggala

After breakfast, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & the Royal Botanical Gardens
*Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage – The Elephant Orphanage was established to feed, nurse & house young Elephants, whose parents were killed in the human-elephant conflicts. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. The rescued baby elephants are adopted by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.
*Royal Botanical Gardens - The Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for its large number and variety of plants, ornamental, decorative, useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This Garden is best known for it's collection of orchids, the largest in Asia. Transfer to Galle for your most awaited Beach Holiday.

Day 03 – 05 Koggala

Madu River, which flows across the Balapitiya area, is one of the most rarely visited and unspoiled attractions in Sri Lanka. This extraordinary estuary with a cluster of 64 small islands scattered along its impressive breadth, most of which are covered with mangroves and uninhabited, and is also a haven for crocodiles. The largest island is home to around 300 families and the smallest, barely an islet, holds a tiny shrine with a statue built in respect of the gods of Kataragama. There is also “Kurundu Doowa (Cinnamon Isle)” where a small family maintains a two acre cinnamon plantation and the main attraction, “Koth Doowa (Island of the Pinnacle)” which houses a serene Buddhist temple, all of which adds up to a truly remarkable and unforgettable boat ride. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea factory en-route to see how the world's favorite drink is prepared. Nuwara Eliya resembles an old English town, complete with a lake, race track, well- kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican Church and an 18 hole golf course.
